A light canvas work jacket, inspired by a 1950s Lee jacket I recently acquired.
This jacket is relatively fitted compared to most chores, with a shaped back panel and a collar that is intended to be worn with the top unbuttoned. Adorned with plenty of pockets to store all sorts of goods and materials.
All seams flat felled and triple stitched. Buttonholes are handsewn and the brass buttons are hand set.
Made entirely on antique machines, a 1921 Singer 31 and a 1909 Willcox and Gibbs domestic chainstitch machine.
Little discount on this one, managed to get some small ink stains on the back of a sleeve
measurements:
22 inches pit to pit
28 inches shoulder to hem
6 inches shoulder width
23.75 inches sleeve length
