Mickey Duck Cloth Jacket

This jacket takes heavy inspiration from Cossack style jackets of the 30s, with a cropped fit, boxing glove pockets, chinstrap, and inverted box pleat on the back. It's equipped with a zipper closure and adjustable cuffs, allowing for layering or generous movement through the arms.

It's made of a light duck cloth found in an antique store in Springfield, MA, which has been chemically dyed from it's original bright white state. All the seams on this jacket are flat felled, and all the buttonholes are sewn by hand. The top button is raw iron which will tarnish naturally over time. The sleeve buttons are stonewashed. The zipper is a vintage Talon, once painted black, with a black zipper band.
