14oz Laceback Jeans 32x32
A pair of laceback jeans with mule ear pockets in a Sailor fit, high rise with a generous thigh and a slight flare. This pair is constructed of a 14oz Vidalia Mills denim, with a sturdy HBT used for the front pocket bags and a nice soft canvas used for the back welts. I experimented with a slightly wider than usual waistband on this pair.
Features include mule ear pockets, a waistband-integrated coin pocket, welt-integrated back pockets, and a laceback with hand-sewn grommets. As always, finished with a chainstitch hem and hand-sewn buttonholes throughout. Raw copper buttons and brass rivets will patina over time.
Constructed almost entirely on antique machines (1886 Singer 15-1 and 1920s Willcox and Gibbs) with a brief dip into vintage machines (1956 Singer 319W) for the zigzags to secure the back welts.
These are currently raw and a 32 inseam, but I’m happy to rinse or hem before sending out. Measurements (below) shouldn’t change too much with a wash, especially if you keep it cold.
I’m happy to offer free lifetime repairs on any clothes I make. If you’re interested in shipping internationally or acquiring a pair in your size, get in touch and we’ll figure it out!
